דברים ז:יב - יא:כה

blessings of children & land following hearing & keeping God's ordinances, lessons from the desert about appreciation of & dependence on God's provision, warning not to become prideful or idolatrous with prosperity, HaShem will enable Israel to destroy wicked nations despite their being a stiff-necked people, Moshe received tablets inscribed by finger of God then smashed them & burned the molten calf & prayed to save the rebellious people from God's anger, Moshe carved out second set of tablets then ascended mountain again for HaShem to write on them then descended to place them in ark, Aaron died then his son Elazar ministered in his place, Levites appointed to carry the ark & serve HaShem, encouragement to revere & love & serve & observe mitzvot of HaShem who is powerful & just, praise to God who made the 70 souls who descended to Egypt like the stars of heaven in abundance, warning from HaShem's miraculous chastisements of Egypt and Datan & Aviram (from tribe of Reuven) which the people witnessed, observe mitzvot to inherit special Land of God flowing with milk & honey, second section of the Shema (provision & blessing in the Land requires faithfulness of the people individually & in family & as community to love & serve God - place God's words on heart & on soul & on hand & between eyes - teach God's words to children & talk of them to others - write God's words on doorposts & gates), boundaries of Land which God will deliver to those walking in His ways

"And now, Israel,

what does HaShem your God request from you;

to revere HaShem your God,

to walk in all His ways,

to love Him,

and to worship HaShem your God

with all your heart

and with all your soul"

God will not forget Israel, Jerusalem will be rebuilt, captives will be returned, Israel was sent away because of idolatry & iniquity & transgressions & lack of response to God's call to repent

Yeshua attends festival of Sukkot at first in secret then teaches in temple courts amazing the Jews & honoring God, asserts that he is sent by God as source of living water of the Spirit for those who believe, invites anyone without sin to stone a woman caught in adultery then tells her to go and sin no more, identifies himself as the light of the world, foretells his going away & being lifted up as one from above speaking & doing will of God, clarifies that the adversary lies and the truth sets those who belong to God free, gives glory to God and testifies to his existence before birth of Avraham

שׁוּב דִּבֵּר אִתָּם יֵשׁוּעַ וְאָמַר

אֲנִי הוּא אוֹרוֹ שֶׁל עוֹלָם

מִי שֶׁבָּא אַחֲרַי

 לֹא יִתְהַלֵּךְ בַּחֹשֶׁךְ

אֶלָּא יִמְצָא לוֹ אֶת אוֹר הַחַיִּים

הכרזת יוחנן ח:יב

"Again Yeshua spoke with them and said:

'I am the light of the world.

Whoever follows me

will not walk in darkness,

but will find for himself the light of life.'"

אֲשֶׁר בַּאֲדוֹנֵנוּ יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ

"And neither height nor depth,

nor any other created thing,

will be able to separate me from the love of God,

which is in our lord Yeshua the Messiah."
